These terms cover the Atoms Plus subscription and this website. The Atoms plugin itself is open source and covered by its own licence in the repository.
The service
Atoms Plus provides managed AI filing, so you can classify captures without supplying your own Anthropic API key, and optional Ask access over a cloud mirror of your atoms folder. Atoms is an independent project and is not affiliated with Obsidian, Anthropic, or OpenAI.
Subscription, trial, and billing
- Plus is $6 per month or $60 per year.
- New subscriptions start with a 14 day free trial. A payment method is required to begin the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins and the card is charged.
- Each billing period includes 150 AI filings. Unused filings do not carry over to the next period.
- Additional filings are available as a one time purchase of 50 filings for $2. A top up applies to the current period only, does not renew, and does not change your subscription.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in USD and exclude any taxes that may apply.
Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel at any time from Settings inside the plugin. Cancelling stops future charges and Plus remains active until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not automatically refund partial periods. If something went wrong on our side, contact us and we will sort it out.
Your content
Your notes are yours. You keep all rights to them. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service you asked for: passing capture text to Anthropic for classification, and, if you enable Ask, storing a mirror of your atoms folder so an assistant can search it. We do not train on your notes. See the Privacy page.
Acceptable use
Do not use Plus to process content you do not have the right to process, and do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse the service for others. We may suspend an account that does.
Availability and liability
Plus is provided as is, without warranty. We aim to keep it running but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
If these terms or the price change, we will give notice by email before the change takes effect for your subscription. Continuing to use Plus after that means you accept the change.
